- From the Start menu, right-click My Computer and select Properties. 

- Click on the Remote settings link (on the left side). 

- Check the box next to Allow Remote Assistance connections to this computer to enable remote desktop. 

- If you want, in the Remote Desktop section further down, you can specify who can connect to your computer using remote desktop. 

- Click OK to save your changes 

Remote desktop will then be enabled.</description>
