Snipping Tool
First we need to open up the snipping tool. To do this go to your start menu and select (all programs) then select (accessories) then snipping tool. Alternatively you could also just type in snipping tool under the start menu’s “search programs and files”.

Capture Screen
Click on “New. Your screen will dim. Now just draw a square around the part of the screen you want to capture. Once your done the captured image will appear in a snipping tool window. From here you can save or use the pen tools on the image etc. Snipping tool also has some options you can play around with that lets you capture in different ways. To access these before you capture click the arrow next to “New” you can choose how you want to select what you will capture. The choices are free-form which allows you to capture any shape, rectangular which lets you draw a box around what you want to capture, window capture which captures a window, and full screen which captures your full screen. Rectangular is the most commonly used option.
