		<description>To keep your Droid phone secure, you can configure your phone so that it locks itself. Unlike most phones, the Droid uses a pattern on the screen instead of a password. You can turn the lock on and off, and set the pattern by going by pressing the menu button and selecting &lt;strong&gt;Settings &gt; Location &amp; security. &lt;/strong&gt;

To turn on the requirement that a patter be used to unlock your Droid, &lt;strong&gt;select Set unlock pattern&lt;/strong&gt;. 

If you already require a pattern to unlock your Droid, you can turn off the requirement by tapping the &lt;strong&gt;Require pattern. &lt;/strong&gt;
