&lt;li&gt;On the left panel, go to &lt;strong&gt;Configuration &gt; Administrative Templates &gt; Windows Components &gt; Windows Explorer&lt;/strong&gt;. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;On the right panel, double click on &lt;strong&gt;Turn off display of recent search entries in the Windows Explorer search box&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Select the &lt;strong&gt;Enabled&lt;/strong&gt; option.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Click on &lt;strong&gt;OK&lt;/strong&gt; to save your changes.&lt;/li&gt;
