1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and select “Control Panel”.
2. Double-click the “Display” icon.
3. Click the Effects tab.
4. From the display of Desktop icons, click the one that you would like to modify.
5. Click the “Change Icon…” button.
6. Click the new icon that you would like to use.
7. Once you have finished selecting the icon you want to use, click OK.
8. You can now change other icons, or if you are finished, click Apply.
9. Click OK.
