  Step 1Go to the “Start” menu, click “Run,” type “msconfig” and hit “Enter” to bring up the system configuration utility.

  Step 2Click the “Startup” tab.

  Step 3Uncheck boxes next to Norton SystemWoks and Norton Antivirus. Click on “Apply” and then “OK” to save the new settings and restart the computer.
