Step 1
Open your PDF in Adobe Acrobat 8.

Go to the Menu bar and click “Tools, which will open a drop-down menu.

Scroll down the drop-down menu and choose “Advanced Editing.” This will open another drop-down menu.

Step 4
Scroll down this second drop-down menu and click on “TouchUp Text Tool.” This will give you a cursor, also called an I-beam, that you can place in any text in your PDF file.

Step 5
Place your cursor over the text you want to edit, and click to plant the cursor within the text.

Step 6
Make the desired edits. When you’re finished, save the PDF.

Step 7
Click on the icon for the “Select” tool to change your cursor from the I-beam back to the Select tool.
