Step 1Click on the “Start” button. This is located in the lower left-hand corner of Windows XP.
Step 2Click “Control Panel.”
Step 3Click “Add or Remove Programs.”
Step 4Search through the programs in the “Currently Installed Programs” box until you find the antivirus software program or programs you no longer want to keep on your computer.
Step 5Click on the antivirus software you want to delete.
Step 6Click “Remove.”
Step 7Click “Yes” if you are asked to confirm that you want to uninstall the software.
Step 8Follow the on-screen instructions for removing that particular antivirus program. The software will then be deleted from Windows XP.
