Step 1
Open FireFox browser and in the address bar type in about:config
This will open Firefox core options page. Which should look like the image below
Step 2Either type in the Filter bar or scroll down to network.http.pipelining
Double click on network.http.pipelining and change its value to true
Step 3Scroll down to Network.http.proxy.pipelining
Double click on Network.http.proxy.pipelining and change it value to true
Step 4Scoll to network.http.pipelining.maxrequest
Double click on network.http.pipelining.maxrequest a new window should appear and change the value within the window from 4 to 8
Step 5Now right click anywhere on the page on the drop down menu select new and then select integer

On the value window type in content.notify.interval and click ok

A new window should appear after you have clicked ok now enter a value of 500000, click ok
Step 6Right click again anywhere in the window on the drop down menu select new and then select Boolean

On the value window type in content.notify.ontimer click ok and then a new window should appear, select true
Step 7 is extremely similar to step 5. Once again right click anywhere on the page on the drop down menu select new and then select integer

On the value window type in content.switch.threshold and click ok

A new window should appear after you have clicked ok now enter a value of 250000, click ok and restart Firefox browser.
Step 8
(Optional)
This is a small step to speeding up your network card for overall increase in internet speed.
• On your computer go to start\controlpanel\network connections
• Right click on your Local area connection and select properties from the drop down menu
A new window should appear similar to the one below.
Now this option is all depending on your situation with the check box options you can select each one to see if it is an option that you need for your situation or not.
Say for an example that your situation is that you are on a standalone computer you don’t have any share printers or shared folder to connect to on any network.
All you will need is teefer2 Driver and tcp/ip check boxes to be check, deselect everything else and you will see an increase in you surfing speed.
