How to resize, shrink, or enlarge Windows 7 partition
I have upgraded to windows 7 on an old windows XP partition. It was big enough for XP but too small for 7. Is there a free tool that I can use to resize my partition?

Here are two options:
- Windows 7 has a built in tool to shrink your partition (volume).
Go to Control Panel –> System and Security –> Administrative Tools –> Computer Management –> Storage –> Disk Management Then right-click on the partition you want to shrink and click Shrink Volume.
- If you have multiple partitions, extra free disk space, and want to adjust the size, you can try a FREE tool called EASEUS Partition Master.
Essentially, Partition Master provides the following features:
* Resize/Move partitions without data loss
* Extend system partition easily and safely
* Create, Merge, Split, Delete and Format partitions
* Support up to 2TB partition or hard drive
* Disk Copy, Partition Copy, Dynamic Disk Copy to protect or transfer data
