  Tips for fixing “Missing Prompting Unit” error in Crystal Reports XI.

  1. Verify all the procedures that are used by the subreports existed in your database. You can do so by using Crystal Developer to identify all the related procedures.

  2. Make sure all your depending procedures are in valid state and compiled properly. If you have missing tables, procedures will not compile properly.

  3. You might need to install patch 39209533. Check the following link for the Hot Fix.
