  go to Tools>Options and then click on the “Security” tab, you will see an area titled “Zone Settings.” Click the “Zone Settings” button and then “Internet”/globe icon. Below click on “Custom Level” and scroll down to the “Active X” settings and see if any of those seem out of the ordinary. Use your discretion on whether or not they are having problems to and from the internet or the local intranet.
